Emily Nash, the rising DJ, Producer and frequent favourite of BBC R1, is primed to set dance floors alight worldwide with two huge anthems, DNA / Fire, on HE.SHE.THEY. Records.
Since bursting onto the scene, at just 19, Emily Nash has steadily clocked up heavyweight industry support, mammoth streaming audiences and numerous accolades across her meteoric ascent. From her gargantuan hit ‘Garden’, clocking up well over 4 million streams on Spotify alone, to her most recent smash ‘Darkness’, which was acclaimed by BBC R1 Dance’s Charlie Hedges as their ‘Hottest Record’, it’s clear Beatport and Amazon hit the nail on the head when they named Emily Nash ‘One To Watch’. Indeed, Emily’s in-demand talent as a Producer has seen her remix everyone, from George Michael to BIIANCO to Baby Weight. Her dynamic sets have thrilled crowds across the world from Creamfields to Pacha, Ibiza, Snowbombing to Mint Festival, and her versatility has seen her play alongside a veritable gamut of electronic music talent, from Chaos in the CBD, Loco Dice, Jayda G, Denis Sulta, salute and Mella Dee to name a few.
With this EP, Emily treats us to a duo of club-focused tracks. DNA has an arrestingly, self-assured coolness about it: it “has a real underground and dark feel with a strong bass sound stab.’ Meanwhile, Fire centres around an incredibly ‘catchy vocal and a killer bassline’ to enthral crowds - “this is the deepest of desire, a spark that turned into a fire”. No doubt, with massive tracks like these, Emily Nash’s rising star shows no signs of burning out anytime soon.
